Contact the Environment Committee

Legislation that would address air and noise pollution from incineration are in the Connecticut General Assembly’s Environment Committee. The deadline for these bills to advance is approaching fast; if these bills are not voted out of Committee, they are “dead” for the rest of the year.

It is critical that Environment Committee members, including co-chairs Senator Rick Lopes and John-Michael Parker hear from as many people as possible in the next few days. E-mail both co-chairs asking that bills on medical waste incineration and industrial noise pollution be voted out of Committee ASAP.
